“Water Made” – Fatti d’acqua

WHAT:

A comedy show on the correct use of tap water.

AUDIENCE:

A diverse audience made up of families, children and senior citizens.

TARGET:

  • Educate people about the correct consumption of drinking water.
  • Improve public perception of a municipality-owned company responsible for the supply of water, making it less impersonal.

OUR IDEA:

Adopt a register that is different from the typical social communication to convey educational content to a diverse audience in a way that is more fun and easier to understand.

OUR PROCESS:

After we identified the contents to be transmitted, we chose “Marco & Pippo”, a comedy duo from Treviso, who could “translate” the topics dealt with into comedy by using the local dialect: gags, exaggerations and jokes are able to make people laugh and at the same time reflect upon their behaviour. We then proposed the show to municipalities served by the water company ATS so that it could be staged in local theatres, parish halls and country festivals.
